Promotional flyer for furby babies, included in every furby box after Generation 3.

On August 31st, 1999, the Furby Babies line was introduced. Furby Babies are smaller than the original, have higher voices, and cannot dance, but they switch to speaking English more quickly. Furby Babies have a vocabulary which is larger than that of 1998 Furby by 25%. Furby Babies also have 233% more phrases than the 1998 Furby's. They have "Easter eggs" and "games" built into them. All Furby Babies have white eyelashes, and they were available in 25 different colors including one special edition. They were voiced by Mary Kay Bergman in 1999 before her passing.

Other Variations

Emoto-tronic Furby Baby's

In 2005, a new version of Furby Baby was released, with most notable features being the new look and a more "baby-ish" appearance in contrast to the Emoto-Tronic Furby adult. They also have considerably fewer features than the "adult" Furby, with a very limited vocabulary and a lower level of interactivity. Another notable feature of the 2005 Emoto-Tronic Furby Baby is the movable "legs" which unfurl when the Furby Baby is awake. Although they were a European exclusive, they were sold in the US via the Hasbro Toy Shop website. In 2006, some Furby Baby's were sold with a Funky Furby in the same box, and on the front of the box, it would say "Exclusive Twin Pack". The voice provider for the 2005 Furby Baby's remains unknown, though it is likely that Patricia Thompson, the voice actor for the adult 2005 Furby's, voiced them. They retailed for approximately $19.99.

Furby Party Rockers

On February 14, 2013, Furby Party Rockers were released. Though many fans considered these the Furby Babies of generation 3.0, virtual Furblings were confirmed afterwards.

Furby Furblings

In 2014, small plush versions of Furblings were released. For more on these, visit here. Furby Connect also has Furblings they can interact with. You still get to hatch them like the Furby Boom. These ones have names, antennas (like the adults) and different color schemes. The bar that says its name gives out information on where its from. Furby Connect can also interact with the Furblings. They also dance in the songs that you watch with the Furby Connect.
