Coobie (Furby Fake)

Coobie (sometimes referred to as Foobie on the box) is a Furby Fake. It is one of the several knock-off Furby's that are almost identical in appearance to a few other Furby knock-offs including Poopi, Foobie, andPurby. Coobie is unique from other knock-offs because he has his very own voice with a made-up language; however Coobish still borrows very heavily from the Furbish language. The Japanese version of some Coobie's come with a manual that says "Loobie" instead of Coobie; this could be a possible printing error since the Japanese version of the toy has the word "Coobie" all over the box. Coobie's voice sounds exactly like many other bootlegs like Furbish (not to be confused with Furby's language), Baby Brainy, Dubby, etc. Every Coobie has a tag attached to themselves which says "Coobie Toys" like how Furby's have a tag that say "Tiger Electronics".

Appearance

Coobie is very similar to the Furby, but with teddy bear-like arms and legs and multi-colored paws. Coobie comes in a few unique color variations. Coobie's eyes can either come in silver, a combination of green and blue, blue with yellow surrounding the pupil, or even have different shades of purple in their eyes. Like other knock-offs, Coobie's beak has a brighter shade of yellow than a Furby's beak.

Merchandise

Only one piece of merchandise for Coobie is known to exist. Just like how there is an official Furby album called Furby Mix, there is an official Spanish Coobie CD by Knife Publishing called Canta con Coobie. This album consists of fourteen songs including:
