I just saw the poll on homepage to vote for a redesign! I was actually going to ask if I could change the yellow/gold color to something like pink or blue. I'd love to help redesign if we go through with it
Galleries
There was a silent update that changed the format of galleries (I'm not sure if everyone is seeing it like i am, but in case you are) if you dislike the new format, I can find css of the old galleries to make them look like before.
A few of the issues are: having to press "expand" to view all images, and not being able to add images without editing source mode.
Cough Syrup (my furby)
Okay so, I was updating the Coffee Furby page, and I realised for an unholy second that my Coffee Furby named Cough Syrup wasn't actually a Coffee. It was sold to me as a Coffee, and I didn't look properly enough to see any differences and I just didn't end up noticing. Mine has a brown faceplate instead of tan, and pink ears instead of tan. Which is the same coloring as the Reindeer Furby. But mine doesn't have the hat or antlers. Are these meant to be removable? Is there a mane tuft under the Reindeer's hat? There's no damage on my Furby. (there's an image of it on my profile) I just wanted to make sure!
edit: Reindeers have tails and mine has a mane.

Obey Mories
Hello there, in this post another unknown fake is the case. Sometime ago i saw a photo of an Furby fake in its box. The box was rectangular and bright yellow, and at the top it would say ITS OBEY MORIES! in capital letters. On the box you could see a picture of a Furby fake that looked exactly like an Koala Furby except it had long arms and a wide beak like a Foobie has one. I have found nothing documentating Obey, and i dont know anything else. The photo is archived nowhere. If you know about it then write here.
Furby galleries proposal
Sometimes the galleries look super awkward on pages with not enough information - should we move the galleries to a new page, with an image that says "click here to view the gallery"? For example, it would take you from Leopard Furby to Leopard Furby/Gallery

HI, i found a picture of an unknown Furby fake on Google. It appears like a panda plush with a beak and eyes. It looks a bit like the panda version of Hibou but with the electrics of a 1998 Furby. If anybody has more information about this fake, please tell me. And also, maybe he should get a page on this wiki? Hey Furby fans. I have a 1998 Zebra Furby from RL factory. When I found him, it was in very poor shape. Filthy, yellowed eyes and lids, and a rotten battery compartment. I put batteries in him and he just stayed in start-up check mode until I pulled the batteries out. So I skinned him, cleaned all his contacts, including the contact under the Sync Screw, belly and back contacts. He was very dusty and grimy inside, so I sprayed the entire unit with plastic safe contact cleaner and compressed air. Now when I put batteries in him, he starts up and immediately goes into "Me Go To Sleep Now" mode, starts snoring, and goes to sleep. Kah mee mee noo loo started acting strange - it said stuff like "I feel a new friend coming" and "OMG NEW FRIEND". My mom came home and brought home this box - some damaged hatchimals were in it along with a box that looked white. I asked her what this was for.

2005 Flash Furby site?
I've been remembering lately this one Furby site i used to go on back in about 2011, most likely sometime before the 2012 Furbys came out, but I'm not too sure whether it was supposed to promote the movie, since i recall the actual toys being advertised on it more than the movie.
From what i remember, it was an interactive flash site that took place on an island-like setting with clickable Furbys, i think? Here's some things i remember for sure:

Furby Connect Versus 2016 Hatchimals
Many people are contemplating whether they want to get a Furby Connect or Hatchimal, maybe for Christmas or something. There's some pros and cons to each.
Hatchimals:
Pros:

- Has wheels to "walk" around

Cons:
- Very overpriced (Over 125 USD!)
- Unreliable
- Unstable
- Takes an absurd amount of time to hatch despite attention spans shortening to under 20 minutes with many people

- Batteries can not be replaced without disassembling the toy

Clever Furby Buddy Fakes
I thought I'd quickly post this for people to know about these fakes, and because I plan on working on a page for them when I can.
There are fake Furby buddies that look VERY close to the actual thing. I think the manufacturer name for them is called 'Sandy' according to a Rakuten listing (but I don't know if another company was also distributing them like how Robonagi is known to have had more than one distributor or if the listing is wrong).
Want to know something surprising about this company? It made fake Furby buddies that look so much like custom Furbys!! I found the yellow bird version from a Thai user on Instagram and the green one is for sale on Rakuten (France) still! I thought it would have been sold by now since I saw it in 2015…
Should this Furby have a page on the wiki?
Just thought I'd ask. For anyone who's immediately going to say it's a custom, this Furby has a marking on its base that's similar to what Fresh New Look Furbys normally have and even some Furby Babies are known to have. Anush told me that it has a marking saying, "C015" instead of two letters. Though it's possible some one customized a Fresh New Look Furby and then got rid of it, there's also a chance that this is could be an actual Furby we've never seen before. Feel free to talk about this Furby here, also.

Concept for new furby
I think there should be a new furby, with multiple color combos (Red, Orange, Yellow, Dark green, Blue, pink, purple, coral, and maybe a special edition gold). I don't really know of a clever name it could have. Maybe just be named after the year it was released like the 1998 and 2012 furbies. I have concept art for this furb. It should have an app that it connects to with Bluetooth as well and also talk to other furbies of it's type. Their eyes should be 320p if they can (each eye is 320 x 320 pixels) with the color capability of the connect. They should have sensors for when you maybe pull it's ear. And it's ears would be able to move up and down while also being able to move back and forth.

Concept for gold furby boom
So, we all know about the golden furbling. But I think there should be a gold furby boom to go with it. So, why not? But, just imagine a crystal furby boom with gold fur. You are free to update this image or even remove it due to how bad the image looks, but here's an image that I created in GNU Image Manipulation Program, modifying a pink and orange crystal furby boom to look gold. Note that I don't know how to smoothly change colors of things in GNU Image Manipulation Program, but you are free to comment how in the comments.

Hello. So you might know about Bee-Toh. You might be wondering why I removed the images and white furby connect pages.
I found out that my friend who sent me it customized it. He said it was fresh from the store and sent me it telling me to create an article. On further inspection, I realized it was fake due to a white dot being on the beak.
I told him that I could get banned and he said he doesn't care because he pranked me good, but he also said I could keep the furby.

So, this is my first "Furby Status" blogpost. Anyway, my furbies are fine. Tay-Toh and Ah-May haven't been turned on in over a year, though. Tay-Toh's beak still doesn't always open/close on it's own.

A Donbei Fijit friends knockoff!
Furbys weren't the only things the people at Nissin ripped-off. I think the name of this knockoff is Robot Pet Donbei-kun (ロボットペットどん兵衛くん). Summit Furbys
So, I found this post from Tumblr, and I wanted to see if I can help answer it.
I think that Furbys with that shiny label that says "Furby Summit" (ファービーサミット) show that a Furby speaks another language aside from Japanese. There are Japanese Furbys with this label, but they wear Chinese dresses. I don't know much about them myself, but here are a few pictures from listings anyways (one photo is from a blog). Also, I CANNOT confirm if the lamb furby and the leopard furby have custom clothes or if they actually came with the Furbs. Also yes, I am very sure that they were only exclusive to Japan as the post suggests. I cannot remember, but I THINK one of those old Japanese Furby magazines have a bit of information regarding Summit Furbys.
